Born and raised in Lusby, Maryland, Averie was shown theatre in Elementary school during a production of The Wizard of Oz. Afterwards, she became obsessed, auditioning for every play or musical that she could and inviting everyone she knew to come and watch her.

This excitement and love of acting continued throughout her life and by the time she was eleven, she knew acting is what she wanted to do. Of course, like most parents, Averie’s were hesitant about this dream of hers. However, in time, and after seeing her final performance in Middle School, they were on board.

In high school Averie continued with plays and musicals, but found a new love in improvisation. It was so freeing and exciting to have to make things up on the spot and she was good at it. Making it on the school’s first ever Improv Team, Averie had the chance to perform for other schools in the county as well as her family and peers.

Now in college, Averie is looking forward to graduating in Spring 2022 with her BA in theatre. She’s been working hard in learning new acting techniques as well as perfecting her craft in improv and film acting, her two favorite things. She hopes to make a move out to Los Angeles by the end of 2022 to pursue acting full-time.
